Great Dates-A Ministry for Married Couples

Menlo Park Campus, Fellowship Hall

When was the last time you and your spouse went on a "real" date?  We believe that marriage is one of God's greatest gifts, and successful marriages require quality time together--without the kids!  Each Great Date opens by introducing a specific marriage-related topic, sends you out to dialogue over dinner or a walk, and concludes with dessert and group reflection. Childcare is offered by advance reservation.

Please join us the next Great Dates event scheduled for May 17. The program will be held in Garden Court.

This year, our ministry theme is "Powerful Love", based upon II Timothy 1:7.

Please mark your calendars with the following dates:

September 21 -  "Understanding Empathy - the Key to Your Mate's Heart" with Dave and Mary Campbell
March 22 - "The Ebb, The Flow and The Joys of Marriage" - an interview with John and Nancy Ortberg
May 17

May 17 Schedule

You are invited to attend the regular Saturday 5 p.m. worship service in the main Sanctuary (a full children's program is available also), and have dinner with your familiy in Fellowship Hall afterwards.

If you choose just to attend the Great Dates program and grab something later, we recommend that you call for a reservation (7:25 pm is the ideal time) at a restaurant within a two-mile radius of the church for you and your spouse. Or, you can plan to take a walk or go for coffee.

If you have requested childcare, please review our childcare guidelines here: http://www.mppc.org/childcare-guidelines
