San Francisco City Impact Mission Trip

DOWNLOAD APPLICATION

San Francisco Tenderloin District

July 21-22

This is a wonderful opportunity for families to take an urban plunge and serve others in an impoverished urban neighborhood not far from our homes. You will travel to City Impact in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco, arriving on Saturday morning and wrapping up about noon on Sunday. The team will be working alongside of City Impact staff and volunteers to prepare and deliver meals to nearby apartment buildings, work in the thrift shop, work in the school library, and work with the Street Ministry Team doing outreach to homeless on the streets and ministering to their needs.

There will also be teaching and community time for all the participants where we can worship, get to know one another and the City Impact team, and discuss what everyone is experiencing through this outreach. The team will spend the night at City Impact. MPPC has partnered with City Impact for several years now, and it is safe there and a wonderful experience to be a part of a different kind of urban neighborhood.
