Thursday Mornings, September through May
We are a churchwide ministry for all women with a long legacy of mission involvement. We are connected to other churches throughout our denomination to encourage each other in our faith journeys. All women are welcome to join our monthly programs on the first Thursday, 10:00 to 11:30 in Fellowship Hall. We have a friendly gathering with coffee, refreshments and a speaker. Presbyterian Women also have monthly small group Bible studies that meet the first Thursday of the month. Do you like to sew? We have a monthly sewing group that meets the second Thursday, 9:30 in A20. Come help us make pillows for convalescent residents and layettes for new babies. If you are interested, please contact Bobbi, 650.366.4073.
The Friendship Visitation Ministry is an outreach/visitation program that offers opportunities for relational support and prayer for members and friends of MPPC, most of whom are either temporarily or permanently unable to participate in the regular services and activities of the church. If you know of someone who could benefit from this ministry or need it for yourself, please contact Sue Smith If you would like to become a Friendship Visitor yourself, a fall training will be held in September.
