Menlo Park Campus

June 18-22, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Join us for Zapped, our new Summer Day Camp for kids. Zapped is for kids 3½ years old * through incoming 6th graders. Each day kids will enjoy messy art, wild and crazy games, live storytelling, high-energy music, and building relationships in small groups. Everyone is welcome! Encourage your child to invite a friend to experience Zapped with them. This year our summer day camp will offer something for kids of all ages:
3½-year-olds through Kindergarteners will have their own unique program where they will enjoy crafts, snacks, games, and stories told at their developmental level. There will be plenty of time for outdoor play, messy art, and engaging stories.
Incoming 1st through 6th graders will experience large group worship and teaching each day and will then rotate through arts and crafts, recreation, snacks, and small group time. Kids will be placed in groups of 8-10 with a small group leader who will lead them throughout their day’s activities. 4th and 5th graders will get to spend time enjoying some extra special wild and wacky activities.
We are looking forward to following the life of Peter and learning how he plugged into God’s power. Each day, kids will learn about how Peter followed Jesus through live storytelling. We will focus on one main principle each day and see that even though Peter didn’t always get it right, Jesus chose to use Peter in big ways. By the end of the week, we want the stories of Peter to have a lasting impact on each child’s life: Calling of Peter (Luke 5:1-11), Peter Walks on Water (Matthew 14:22-34), Peter is the Rock (Matthew 16:13-28), Peter’s Restoration (Mark 14:66-72, Luke 22:54-62), and Peter and Cornelius (Acts 10).
COST: $100.00
*Kids must be 3 years by 12/2/11
