 Mothers Together 2014-15
Tuesdays, September to May

9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Menlo Park Campus, Fellowship Hall

"And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts in Christ Jesus." - Phillipians 4:7

Mothers Together
is a community of women seeking to grow in our faith through the development of fellowship, prayer, teaching and mission outreach.  We seek authenticity in our relationships with one another and with Jesus, sharing life lessons and supporting each other as we navigate the journey of one of God's most important roles for us, Motherhood.  Mothers Together seeks to draw women toward a life-giving relationship with Jesus, to nurture them toward mature faith, to help them grow in community, and to give them Christ-centered support in their roles as mothers, wives, daughters, friends, and disciples of the Lord.

Our prayer is that you will experience Mothers Together as sanctuary from the daily demands of motherhood.  We pray that it becomes a place for you to connect, grow in your faith, and experience His infinite love through His Kingdom.

Childcare is provided every Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. for children ages three months through kindergarten. Infants are welcome to stay with mom. Registration is not necessary. Suggested donation for childcare is $10 per week per family. Cash or checks (made out to MPPC) will be collected in Fellowship Hall or can be put in the Childcare Donations basket at the main door to Fellowship Hall. You can also pay online with a credit card.

Mothers Together Bible Study (1st and 3rd Tuesdays)
Twice a month we seek to nurture each other toward a mature faith as well as encourage and support each other through fellowship and prayer in a small group setting. Each meeting includes teaching, spiritual exercises and time for fellowship. Women can be placed in a small group at any time or join the weekly drop-in table.  All are invited to join a small group at anytime during the year.

All Togethers (2nd and 5th Tuesdays)
Mothers of all ages and stages gather “all together” for worship and inspiration. These gatherings include guest speakers and discussion with other moms on topics of faith, motherhood, healing, and spiritual formation.  Twice a year (December and May), our Special Events Team hosts a Mothers Together brunch. Moms are encouraged to invite newcomers and friends in the community to share a special morning together.

Thrive Tuesdays (4th Tuesdays)
Our Thrive as a Mom series features a large group forum where speakers provide practical tips on how to thrive in our everyday roles as moms, wives, daughters, friends and disciples of the Lord. Moms are also invited to participate in more intimate Thrive seminars of their choosing to explore specialized topics in-depth.

  • Bible 101 with Betty Carlson - this is an introductory Bible class for those new to the study of God's word and will go through the sections of the Bible looking at the content and themes, as well as how to use the Bible to understand who God is and how to navigate through life.
  • Romans with Mimi McDowell - this year we will be studying Romans where we will dive deeply inito the wonder of what Christ accomplished on the cross on our behalf and how, by living in the power of His resurrection and the Holy Spirit, He transforms us into new women - the women we've always hoped to be!
