Gather together with other moms of all ages with "kids" in all stages to enjoy brunch, fellowship and a message of encouragement. This year, special Guest Speaker, Wendy Hagen will share on the topic of Simplicity and Contentment: Living the Un-American Dream.
Cell phones. Foreclosures. Credit Cards. Twitter. Email. Unemployment. Fancy cars. iPads, iTouches, iPods, iChats . . . iEverything. And then those darn neighbors—the Joneses. How can we hear God amidst the noise? How can we practice Simplicity (without joining an Amish community) and find contentment in our chaotic culture? Get ready to be challenged and encouraged as Wendy talks about the spiritual discipline of Simplicity. This is an area in which Wendy is personally challenged and in which she would like some company as she strives to live simply and give generously while seeking God's Kingdom first.
